Vince Whaley is a sales and marketing expert with over 45 years of experience, and since 2005 he has served as Promotional Products Association International's New & Novice Distributor Trainer at their showcase trade show and convention held every year in Las Vegas, NV. Since 1996 Vince has been building and maintaining his outstanding reputation for his ability to successfully introduce, coach, train and mentor new distributors for success in the promotional products industry.
Vince has been self-employed in the field of sales and marketing for most of his adult career. He discovered his love for the promotional products industry in the late 70’s when he began selling advertising specialties for a leading distributor company. It did not take Vince long to discover the advantages distributors have over sales reps or dealers. In the mid 90’s he became the marketing director of a company that sold business opportunities in the specialty printing field which is closely aligned with the world of promotional products.
Vince’s coaching and mentoring skills developed from a lifetime of living in the “messy” business world, full of half-truths and a lack of transparency in the marketplace.
Those who come to know Vince and work with him know he is nothing if not transparent, in his coaching and training capacities. He tells the whole truth as to how the industry really works…which brings to bear all of the advantages that distributors need to have to compete in their localities.
In 2002 he founded and created Distributors First, which has become a leading industry gateway company to create, train, mentor and support fully independent distributors for the promotional products industry.
